YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC
is dedicated to making BC better for all British Columbians by creating a transparent and accountable government that minimizes waste by being small and effective. YPP is also dedicated to the ideals that the budget should be public, so everyone can see where all their tax dollars are being spent, and that all government actions should be public knowledge, including how each MLA votes on each issue.
YPP-of-BC believes:
The budget should be made public to anyone who desires to see where their tax dollars are being spent.
All government actions should be public, including how each MLA votes on a particular issue.
MLA's should also be allowed to vote independently of their party on current issues if it means they can better represent their constituents.
By providing open and honest information to British Columbians, they, the people, will be better informed and thereby able to provide knowledgeable feedback about what they feel the government should do.
All candidates should hold quarterly meetings, open to all members of their constituency, to inform them about what is happening in the legislature. These meetings will give the individuals of each constituency a chance to inform their MLA how they feel about what is happening in the legislature and with their tax dollars.
Government actions and legislation need to be sustainable, economically, environmentally and socially. This will create a better BC where the governments’ actions promote community development, economical sufficiency and environmental sustainability.
The goal of YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC is to better BC for all British Columbians. We feel it would be easier to make BC better for you if you let us know what YOU would like to have happen in BC.

JAMES FILIPPELI
Party Founder & Leader
James Filippelli has been with YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC since its conception. He is a major contributor to policy development and is responsible for the majority of the support that has been generated for YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC.
He is also an active member of his community, volunteering with organizations like Share (the tri-city food bank) and The Como Creek Watershed. He has lived in the Port Moody-Westwood riding for twelve years. He has also been extensively involved in the tourism industry and his field of knowledge includes the fishing, forestry, mining manufacturing, real estate and educational industries.
